Tragic. What a legend. Godspeed, Ken.

This is not going to help my argument with my wife, who has been after me to give up snowmobiling.

Wasn't he at Le Man's one year, maybe 2017? I recall him driving a yellow New GT and hanging out in the Ford hospitality suite?

Yeah he was. It was 2017.

By all accounts a very nice guy. Really sad. Died doing what he loved.

Biggest hits compilation

He sat with us at lunch. Had a nice chat with him . I saw him again Later that day. He told me he was just informed he got to drive that yellow GT that was in front of the hospitality suite around the LeMans tracks Saturday morning before the race..
And he seemed genuinely excited!
God Speed Ken..🏁🏁

Shit! This really sucks. Another one of my hero's gone. It's tough, as we all get older and the people we admire pass on. Damn this hurts! Ken was the same age as my wife and a bit older than me but I looked up to him and was a big admirer of his.

I was so excited to see his Hoonigan car at SEMA in Vegas only two short months ago this past November. Rest in peace and race in peace. Will miss you, will miss your videos and will miss your legend. RIP brother.

Great guy and fellow Park City neighbor. I don’t think we’ll understand the true loss to the car community for quite some time. He was larger than life!

RIP!
A real car guy!

He was an amazing driver and great guy. Got to ride with him at SEMA several years ago “Fords out Front”. Could watch his driving videos over and over, will be missed. Nothing was out of his wheelhouse if it had an engine.

Made his own thing, life is short.

Yep, I've been depressed ever since I found out. What a shame. Such a nice guy and cool family.

Here's a great clip about some of the history of Ken. It's really worth taking a few minutes to watch it.......... just because.

Here's another good one to watch. The last 1/3 of the video at Pikes Peak with the Hoonicorn is bad ass. Epic!

I knew Ken and really was a great guy, a committed family man and had some amazing car control skills...he changed our car culture in many way
. Right before he announced he was leaving ford, he offered me his Hoonigan Escort MK2 and I bought it.

Very nice and a piece of his driving history. Have you ever driven it or will you ever drive it, just curious?

I do drive it, and often. It's now registered and has plates  -Before Ken passed, people used to go out of there way to see who was driving and very disappointed it was me :ROFLMAO:. Now, it has a very different reaction with kids and others getting photos together with it. I have also done a few Make-A-Wish ride alongs out at the UMC track here in utah..

Clint, I doubt you take chances like a career stunt driver. Just remember not to say, "Watch this."
