I admit to being an Anglophile. Winston Churchill is high on my hero list, I love English motorcycles and I really like this:

I have a deposit down on the F Type R, in Italian Racing Red, Delivery late summer. It will keep the E Type and XKR-S company.

Congratulations. Please post pictures and a review after you get some seat time.

My dealer tells me they're coming out with a bad-ass 695hp version of the coupe in the not too distant future. That would be fun!

Now this is a beautiful car. Looks really good in white and the coupe blows the convertible away. They did a really nice job with it.

I do have to say, the sound the car makes is decidedly not British to my ears. That's a pretty raw, raucous sound for a smooth looking coupe.

I'm hoping that they will build a GT version for Le Mans...I always reminisce of the C & D-types of the 50's. A lightweight GT factory entry would be fantastic.

Would be great, but hard to believe 695hp

This car and the Vantage look so right to me. I played around on the Jaguar website and built a BRG F-Type R Coupe with yellow calipers. Wow.

You're just not accustomed to hearing a British car moving under its own power.

Seriously, you're right about the sound. It's a Limey Mustang.
