how to add picture

I am not a computer wiz but when I went to edit my signature and clicked on the insert a picture Icon it asked something about a text format. I wanted to add a photo of my car like I see so many others have. Any help?

ok still stumped

I did what you said and clicked on edit avatar but it doesn't show anything other than selecting from the standard ones. Ok so I should not own a computer.

If you want to add a picture to your signature, you're correct in clicking the add picture icon. When it comes up and asks you for the text to be formatted, you just insert the address of the image you want to display. It wraps HTML code in the form of

(image) tags around the text so it knows it's an image.

So for example, if I type:

http://www.fordgtforum.com/forums/images/misc/banner2.gif

it comes up as nothing or a link. Add those tags around the text and it becomes
