Got that thing off my GT as soon as I could. Have the Heffner cat back. How much does the Heffner cat back weigh?

If my memory is right about 12 lbs.

If my memory is right about 12 lbs.

Nice weight savings.

If I recall 5-6 years ago when a lot of us were first removing the stock muffler box and replacing them with X pipes, the drop in weight was 40 lbs or so......and that's just where you DON"T want weight on a car....the very back and highest point! :willy

In the middle of installing a heffner h pipe. That suitcase is heavy

How much does the borla weigh?

As I recall the Borla weighed in the low to mid 30's.

How much does the borla weigh and what's the DA?

fixed

another reason for removal ........ air flow! it's a damn 56 brick wall!

BTW, the heffner X was the first wife said to get as "the car will sound better"..... little did she know that when she goes off, I go off on the right foot.... peace of mind:cheers

I also thought it was around 40 lbs....56 lbs. explains why I had so much trouble trying to carry it down the narrow staircase in Joeys barn after I stored it there when I changed to the GTG X pipe. Anybody know the GTG GUy x pipe weight?

I can't remember exactly, but I believe the weight savings going from stock to the FRPP M-9430-GTX rear exit headers was in the neighborhood of a very impressive reduction of ~ 70 lbs.
