Headed to the river tomorrow for a shindig one of my buddies is hosting, so this job will have to wait 'til Monday to be finished up. :thumbsup

Everyone have a great weekend!

Did you remove the rear clamshell to remove the OEM exhaust?

Nice Mardyn....you'll be very happy with it and believe me it gets rid of ALOT of heat.

Sharp you do not have to remove the clamshell to get the exhaust out.

Remove Air CLeaner, put jack under transmission...remove tranny bolt, lower tranny max distance, remove both rear covers around the exhaust (the black plates with all the holes, and just very very very carefully turn and remove the exhaust straight up...its very helpful to have a friend or 2 when you do this as that buggers heavy.

I was just going to post the same question! It's not Beach's (if I remember his correctly). I'm wondering if it's MMP?:shrug I've never seen their's that I recall.

Thanks for all the nice replies... no, I didn't remove the rear cowling, and yea, it is tight getting the original muffler outta' there, but the trick is to remove the upper vent panel to gain the needed clearance.

This system was designed and fabricated by Chad over at Kinetic Speed in Atlanta. He has since (several months ago) left Kinetic and opened his own facility. Nice guy, excellent fabricator, and very good references.

More of my thoughts and comments later as I get the project finished up.

Same system I have - you will love it. Did you get the baffling? I did, and the sound is great - not too loud, but definitely an improvement over stock. Enjoy! :cheers

Yep, same one... in fact, when you posted up the pics of yours initially in the "My Exhasut Saga" thread several months back, I thought to myself... that's one cool looking set of pipes.:thumbsup

Started checking 'em out for myself and ordered up a set for my own. Turns out one of my good friend's daughter works over there at Kinetic (small world) and knew Chad too. Kinda' gave me a little inside info on Kinetic and Chad, which was all good to know going in to this deal.

Yes, these have the baffled inserts. I'm very happy with the quality, Chad did a helluva' job for me.

Can't wait to get her finished up and back on the road.:banana
