I spoke with the guy who did my three piece lay-up Gulf logos as I have had a lot of people ask me about them. He stated that since I had already digitized the graphic and had all the other items necessary for making more he would be glad to make them in either permanent or removable form. He said both would be three layer just like mine and out of the uv film.


Cost would be 35.00 (plus shipping) for two 8.25 inch tall Gulf Logos.(either permanent or peel off) (these are color exact to our car but historically accurate to the original logo of 1967-1970). We can get the price down some if we do them in a group buy. Yes he can scale them down or up a bit but the price would change just slightly as its the labor that is expensive on this type of graphic not the material as much.


He also said that since I had him do patterns for roundels and the numbers kits using my originals that he could do reproductions of them very inexpensively. Since ford is over a grand for the kits now I think this would be good for us all.

If your looking for doing double digits it takes a different scale but those are also done.

OK the pricing is now locked for this first run. Remember that these are all multi-layer graphics and are on uv rated material that has an eight year guarantee in full sunlight. since the cars are never in that state ... we should all be dead before these start looking long in the tooth.

All roundel sets are off my patterns taken from my car. Numbers for double digits are scaled as in the picture. Single digits are same size as factory ford. So each set includes 4 roundels.

For the temporary (wrap material) with number applied on roundels (4 pc set) is $200.00 plus shipping

For the permanent set with number applied on roundels (4 pc set) is $150.00 plus shipping

Gulf logos in permanent are 35.00 and in temporary are 40.00

Each graphic set will be shipped with instructions and application squeege.

I will deliver the order for this first set monday afternoon.

WOW!!! talk about a response! .... for all that have PM'd I will talk to my graphics guy tomorrow and be back with you all first of next week.

Please pm me phone numbers where I can call you and also confirm what your looking for. So far about ten sets of roundels have been requested and a ton of gulf logos. Remember when I call you I will ask you if you want permanent or tacky (temp) kits. The price is about the same either way. All graphics are multi-layer lay up so they are deep and vibrant.

ok ... just to keep you all in the loop and so that I don't miss anyone.

I am having fifteen sets of roundels done. 10 will be permanent and five will be stick on. When I call you for your numbers I will have them done for you. Whatever is not committed to I will have a numbers pack made for each set.

On the Gulf logos. I am going to have 20 pairs of the 8.25 inch done and 10 of the 6.75 inch. I am going to go 50/50 on perm to temp.

I will have the firm numbers on monday but may post tentative ones here on this thread later today. The pricing will be on this production run only. If you think you might want a set please pm me or send me an email so I can get it in this run.

I will be heading to Hallett with the Lotus later today and after I am gone I will be out until sunday so if I don't respond immediately I will on monday.

Ok as I have had this question asked a few times let me describe this here.

A set of roundels is: one for the hood, one for the trunk and two for the doors (one left and one right).

A set of gulf decals are TWO. in either 8.25 inch tall or 6.75 inch tall.


All graphics are multi-layer layup so they are AAA++++


The non-permanent or sticky is not static cling. In other words its not a thin sheet painted on plastic. But the same material that they use on buses to wrap graphics on them. They stick firm are three layer lay up and will not come off when your flying down the highway. They are a bit sporty to take on and off but I have a sheet that tells you how to do it and they are remarkably easy to do. Most people will only take them on and off a few times anyway in a year .... no big deal.

All graphics will be shipped in a tube on backing material. I will see about including squeeges in the packing.

Man this is starting to feel like a job :biggrin just kidding glad to do it.

Ok guys I am sorry but I got more people asking me for sets than I anticipated and frankly I have gotten lost on the order. I will post a new link on the forum and put up a list of items.

I have decided due to the volume I am going to ship this all dhl ground so that everyone gets a tracking number and we can get a confirmed total price before people pay for their stuff.

ok guys I am still adding people to the list and if it is fine with you all I will not place this order until friday so that more people can get in on this group buy.

Sorry for the delay but the paint came in at the same time. So I have a business deal closing, looking for a house in another state, the logo thing and then the paint all in the same week as well as having my son this weekend. So I am a bit frazzled.

I will do one final post thursday night before the order is place so please check in and make sure it is correct. PM me ONLY IF IT IS NOT!!!!!! If I do not have your address I will send you a pm and collect it for total and payment.

I think my sign guy is going to have a heart attack as we both thought it might be just two or three sets. so far its over 25! he's a good guy and does excellent work.... so its a good thing for all.
