a portion of the proceeds from the sale of the first production roadster during Barrett-Jackson will benefit The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

wonder what portion, on the GT 100% of the funds of the sale went to Carroll Shelby's Children's Foundation. Many the seller fixes an amount to cover his costs and only the surplus goes to the charity. As far as taxes go, any amount over the retail is deductable.

I think it said 20% of the GTX1 proceeds went to charity.
I think proceeds "could" be labled as 'profit' and not sale price by some slick attorneys.

I'd love the GTX1, would convert my GT, but I don't think it's a good invenstment on a heritage.
