I had the distinct pleasure of seeing the first GT40 Roadster Prototype, Serial P108, at RM Auctions' office today. Camilo was the human star of the show, this GT40 was the silent star.

This review Camilo did will be a video on the website RodesandRides.com, a real cool website if you are not familiar with it. This was truly a "fly on the wall" moment for me. The designer of our GTs seeing this historic GT40 for the first time and taking the time to review all the details of the car and how he saw it's relativity to his design. Awesome.

Here are a couple pictures for now. When I have more time I'll put together a link to more photos and such for anyone interested.

Very cool to see original roadster. That car is going to go for several million when on the auction block. Looking forward to viewing Camilo's interview. Once looked at purchassing a CAV roadster myself. Thanks for posting pictures KJRGT.

You bet Partssmann. The RM fellas think the range will be $9-11M. :eek

That's very cool! Glad you could get down there to help out! Pretty interesting looking car. I'll be interested to see what it ends up going for.

Sounds like there is a lotta cam in the old girl!

Great movie! The car is a bit homely, and saddled with the Colotti waiting to break, but what a piece of history.

Wow, the sound!!!

I liked Camilo's jewelry statement.

Very good video, thanks for posting. Does anyone know what GT/109 went through when dean Jeffries family sold it?

I was just talking about the Jeffries car yesterday and I was told it is still in the family's hands.

I'll bet it's gauges still work.

I wouldn't want to make book on it. Weren't they Lucas?

I think they were Smiths - need verification though...

I had emailed Dean's son a few weeks ago and he told me that what was left was going to stay in the family. I didn't get into any specific car because there was no point in any further discussion of a possible purchase.

wow - great video... was that filmed at Willow Springs ?? looks familiar.

$6.3 million. Kind of disappointing.
