Neighbors must LOVE that running!

Looks darn close, when will it turn a wheel?
It’s definitely loud but it will live at M1 Concourse.

I’m still doing some work since track season in MI is a few weeks away. Installed carbon fiber drive shaft.

Carbon shaft is one piece?
Yes its one piece and approximately 10 lbs lighter. It's a nice looking part that will rarely be seen.

Installed the steering assembly. I used rivnuts to attach displaced ground wires and trimmed the lower IP to clear door bars. IP in almost done.

All the wiring had unique ends so it made reassembly relatively easy.

Next on the list are all the suspension mods. Ford racing parts will replace all rubber bushings including the diff and rear cradle bushings. Ford Performance lowering springs and sway bars.

Fred -- once you do all this , will you be able to drive the vehicle legally on city streets?
Sure would like to see it on Woodward at Pasteiners in the Spring.... !

Installed a CF GT4 hood vent. Notice the GT4 splitter hardware is not a rod but a cable.

the cable design may help when you 'crunch' the driveway entrance or speed bump.

Fred- give me that screw driver you're using to turn the car. I can get it wrapped in carbon fiber!

It’s back at KohR for cage installation. I took the IP apart to remove all components not needed. The IP metal frame is replaced by a bar on the cage.

Fire suppression system installed. Advice on component placement from KohR Motorsports.

Nozzle placement :
Fuel cell area
Footwell area
Left side engine compartment

I started the car today for the first time after removing the cats. GLORIOUS!! Sounds like a proper race car.
