GT Shipping Recommendations?

I'm looking to ship my GT to California (distance = 650 miles) in an enclosed trailer. Does anyone have any recommendations for an excellent and trustworthy car hauler?

Try RELIABLE CARRIERS (Bob) 413-537-3354, They were the exclusive transport provider for the Ford GT back in 05 and 06.

I have used Reliable as well. They delivered my GT from Fresno to So. Cal. I'm sure Shelby and Nathan could recommend transporters as well.

Contact either of these fellows. Both are favored by many NoWest collectors. They do coast to coast and a lot of west coast work. Delivered my GT from Fresno while returning from Amelia Island in 2011.

I have used them to ship my cobra and they delivered my GT. excellent service and judging from their roommates on every trip they haul lots of big collection stuff

We use Reliable Carriers for almost every GT we ship to us and out (http://www.reliablecarriers.com/). As mentioned, they did all the GT's from the factory to the dealers and most their drivers are still there that did so back then (I always ask). There are plenty of other qualified enclosed shippers as well. Have heard good things about Intercity.

Whoever you go with, just make sure they have a drive on lift gate.

Just use Passport Transport (was FedEx Custom critical) moving from NYC to Cali during hurricane

They were early on pickup (never used wipers) and earlier on delivery

They had the lowest prices v. Inter & Reliable....shipped 3 cars

I used them in 2006 to ship from Ford dealer in Maine to NY too

Nice quote generator at Passport. Looks like about $5K RT for Rally VIII. Maybe it's time to put that toward a trailer.

I shipped 2 GT's and 3 Laguna Secas with Passport and although their equipment was a little sketchy (poorly maintained) they got the cars from Socal to SLC, ID and back without a scratch.
