GT Front Nose Piece on Ebay

There is a GT nose piece on ebay with no reserve and starting bid of $100. The nose is white with blue stripes. Here you go GTJoey ! PD

Not a GT, a GT40

Hey guys, you do know that the piece on E-Bay is for GT40 replica, not a Ford GT!?!?!:frown
 
It is actually a 2005 FGT nosepiece. It is upside-down. Look at the hole where the tow hook screws in. Also, the foglamps and black inserts are removed.

It looks like a GT40 piece to me. I guess because it has no lights! I'm bidding on it now!
 
I didnt think it was a GT peice either but I pulled the diagram up and it looks just like the nose peice on our gals.

The stripes looks small to me also but when you compare them to guy holding the bumper its about right.

I would say its real but it would have been easier to tell if it had been right-side-up.
 
hate the blind bidding system on ebay, you have no clue if your buidding against a shill. furthermore, I won't bid against my friends... have at it..
 
at 500 bucks I can get a new nose from the factory and have it painted...I know someone said they were hard to get but I checked last week and there were over 200 in stock :)

I won't bid either. I already have an extra nose piece....courtesy of the mechanic who shunted my car in Dec. of '05. Mine has been chopped and modified so that it is a piece of "wallart". It sits flush against the wall, nose pointing out. It will go up in my new 6 car garage next to the Saleen wall sculpture.

The seller told me that the cost of a new nose runs $1800 :frown
 
I'll check again Monday JBG...Unless they did the same price increase they did on the numbers for the Heritage they weren't that expensive.

I got a price of $1,000 for a rear bumper cover, at $500 for a nose, that's some deal.
