Dakota GT sold a set of Deck vents, sounds like demand was great. I was first so they are in. Thanks Dakota GT. Wondering about painting them Gloss Black or Blue. No other exterior bling so not sure. Old vents had one broken bolt tab and one missing nut. What was very good planning was the thread pattern of bolts, same as factory so I was able to transfer stock studs.

You might consider replacing the studs with ss button head screws with a small washer. When new, these vents shipped with a set of those screws. I think the washers distribute the load a little better on the underside of the clamshell and will mitigate any possibility of cracking or damaging this surface.

Those screws and washers were in the package; hope you didn’t throw them away. But they look great! I actually like the way they look bare and polished, when there is the polished whipple and throttle body right there to compliment them. But they would good white, black, or blue, also.

Yes, the screws are present. After 35 years of mechanics I hate Allen headed bolts/screws. The flat washers would widen load as the stock vents are very compliant and metal vents are not. I'll throw washers on.

I just clear coated my vents and left them shiny with the “machine/tooling” marks still visible.
That was over 15 years ago and they still
Look great.!
