Do any of you remember your grandparents or other older folks saying, "Step on the foot feed" to get the car moving. Some incorrectly pronounced it "foot feet." Well, that all originated from the hand throttles you guys are discussing "hand feed" and the foot throttles "foot feed". A little language trivia for those interested. These hand feeds are still used on many tractors.

I thought he was trying to say it was the 237th Model A. The hand modeling is probably closer to the truth.

What a wonderful time at the MODEL A NATIONAL.:thumbsup
The pics. will tell the stories with over 545 model a's at the manitory tour and over 700 in total at the show.
The greatest part after sharing time with family and friends was MARY MARKS, mary drove 450 miles round trip in her 1930 model a 4 door sedan..her husband passed a couple of years ago and keeping up the tradition of driving her 79 year old car AT AGE 89!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:thumbsup

Mary worked for clara ford a long time ago and is all true ford blue :thumbsup
Other news was that its official the MODEL A MUSEUM IS CONFIRMED AT THE GILMORE MUSEUM SITE IN MICHIGAN. DBK maybe you know about the area more but has a great history with other car museums on the property all in barn styles:thumbsup Ilike those barn styles:biggrin
Last but not least the best part of the gala dinner nite was
1. The pledge
2.star spangled banner sung by one of the model a ers'
3. PRAYERS THANKING ,FOR A WONDERFUL EVENT.....
