about to make the plunge

im ready to purchase what i consider to be one of the best looking cars ive ever seen -but cant decide which color shows off the lines of the gt best. the black seems to almost hide some of the curves- at least in the pics ive seen, but the dark blue doesnt. leaning toward midnight blue with white. all colors look good but like dark more. pain to clean but part of the enjoyment for me.

"YOUR FIRST IMPRESSION IS USUALLY ALWAYS THE RIGHT ONE", remember that saying???!
In this case - that ol' saying is proven TRUE again!
MIDNITE BLUE METALIC PEARL!!!!!!! 'The ONLY way to go! With white 'stripes, red calipers, optional 'wheels ... 'n' MAYBE the Mac. (.. but, I haven't even switched mine on yet, soooooo...???? :confused )
"BL-ACK"? :ack Naaaaaaaaaaaah! :rofl

E.P.

Silver always looks good, even in between washes. Also has great shine and shows the curves very well...

100% right.

Midnight Blue/White Stripes/RedCalipers/forged wheels

Ordered it, watched it being built at Saleen and Wixom and never once thought "maybe I should have considered another color"

Make that + 2, especially without stripes. :thumbsup

I am biased, black no stripes. If not I would go silver if you can find one.

white, no stripes is the fastest, oh yeah, get THE BIG WHIPPLE! :biggrin :cheers :biggrin

Its the car at both extremes for me.

Black no top stripes, speed yellow, with black stripes top.I think black is the most sinister and shows diffent ankles, where the yellow shows off the fun and race side of the car

I initially didn't think I'd like the midnight blue, but when I went to the dealer & saw it in person, I changed my mind. :biggrin I ended up staring at it for about an hr & was completely fascinated w/the rich purple & deep blue colors that constantly changed as the light hit it. :thumbsup

Mike, I don't remember the '70's,.... ten lost years... amazing we survived... and we are critical of kids today... :rofl

I do recall water coolers filled with dago red...

The drink I made for the ladies was called a VELVET HAMMER:
receipe:-
1qt Vodka 1ooproof
1qt Cointreau (triple sec)
1qt Kahlua
1qt Heavy Whipping Creme
whipped in a punch bowl
