I'll post a picture later.... but the fans on mine have a central hub cover on one of them and no hub cover on the other (passenger side) - is this normal?

Thanks

Neil

Same here

I was waiting for someone else to notice this. Mine is the same, my car is an '05.

Ah well that's a slight relief for both of us then...

Make that three

I have an 06 and I too am missing one cover. Maybe we are special?

Maybe they're supposed to be that way then!

Neil,
About the fan assemblies - yes - one has a silver cover and one has a black cover. Bosch does that to pokey yoke the fans. One is the high speed fan and one is the low speed fan. They are not the same fan (speed, etc). So they color one silver and one black to make sure in the assembly they don't mix them up...

:cheers

Thanks for explanation - I was worried for a moment as I'd never noticed before....

Congrats on the VIN by the way! :biggrin

Thanks Dave - I did Google that expression but didn't find it, so kind of guessed that's what it meant....
