I still have a set of brand new, never installed, Ford Racing M-9430 GTX headers for sale.

4300,- INCLUDING shipping to your address in the US or Europe. Australia might cost a bit more because of higher shipping price ...
These original M-9430 GTX are discontinued and out of stock, so get them while you can.

Possibly interested. But can you/anyone explain how these are different (if at all) from the ones offered by Muscle Motors?

Sorry, I do not know the Muscle Motors ones. These are original Ford Racing that I bought back in 2008 or 2009. Back then the purchase price was $4695,-

Anyone who really loves the uninhibited sound of a V8 should jump on these in a heartbeat!

The GT Guys installed mine, and I LOVE them!

For cruising and mild acceleration, the sound/noise/vibration is not unpleasant and the sound is great - although obviously louder than stock.

However, when you get on it - WOW! When I go out for a ride and get on it in 3rd going up a hill that's probably half a mile away as the crow flies, my wife says she can hear the car. The awesome sound of all that horsepower being released is the greatest stress-reliever in the world.

Buy them!

Bonehead...how would you get away with those in California?

You can't run cats with those pipes, better live in a county that doesn't do CARB smog test or know the right friends.

Not easily, but doable:)
Really wish I could hear these in person first.

You can't run cats with this system it the long tube headers. There just isn't any room for them. If I could run cats, I'd do it in a second.

Typo I mean "can't", too early in the morning.

Apologize for asking this question in a F/S thread. But since I don't want to bump an old exhaust thread and I'm possibly interested in THIS particular unit, can anyone tell me if there are problems/issues with gas fumes in the cabin? Catless or even race cat systems can stink up a cabin something fierce. I don't mind for myself, but if my kids are eventually going to ride in the car, then it may be a deal killer.

I don't notice any fumes while on the road, but if when I start the car up in the garage the fumes pretty bad. I never smelled anything even when stopped at a signal. Of course CO is odorless, but unburned HC are not.

...nice choice for a Rally VIII car

Yup, my Porsche with 200cell race cats would bomb the garage with noxious fumes on startup. Suppose a catless system would be even worse. But if it's not an issue once you get going, I suppose it's ok. As for odorless CO, guess if you pass out in the middle of the highway, be sure to update the thread so we can avoid the same problem;)

If it happens you will notice that I have stopped posting.

I worry when a CHP is right behind me on the road, unless he has anosmia,

Ralphie has them on his red GT!!!

One benefit of living in cow country is most people keep the windows up, including CHP.

Ralphie has them on his red GT!!!

And if I still lived in SoCal, I could have heard them myself a few weeks ago:(
