We're getting approx 3 miles/gallon with stock supercharger (upgraded pulley) and tuned 580rwhp and 3000# car. Happen to know if anyone has the oversized side scoops? Also if anyone has tested front canards for the GT?

I made my own oversized scoops, I have not hseen anyone else with them, I am also going to look into canards but have not done anything yet,I think the Matech GT1 has tried them
2.3 mpg whipple 17lb pulley 715 rwhp on pump gas

Thank you Forum for being a resource for part of the research and development of our Ford GT endurance racer. We started this car last April and began track testing just a couple weeks ago in preparation to win the 25 Hours of Thunderhill. Please check it out and let us know what you think!

Wow, Nice! This is a race in Northern California? We had a hard time finding out exact dates etc... We may want to try and come to root you on. Where can I find out information?

The date is Dec 4-5th.
Place; Thunderhill Raceway Park, Willows Ca.
Willows is about 90 miles on I-5 north of Sacramento, the track is located about seven miles west of Willows on hwy 162.

Here's the website for race info: www.nasa25hour.com
There are about 80 cars starting the race. Our competition will be a modified 2010 Porsche Cup and several prototypes and radicals.
If any forum members want to help us crew, let me know!!
We have a test day at Thunderhill the 24th, so I'll report back how the cooling mods are working out.

Everything is coming together... notice any changes? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xkxkNsYFzZs

We qualified and started P3!!! 25 Hours of Thunderhill is under GREEN. Live scoring and results here... http://www.drivenasa.com:8080/liveresults/champs

The Ford GT is running STRONG!!!

After a grueling 12 hours of weather and passing 15 cars a lap, we we're LEADING the race by a good margin on pace to WIN!! Then, we we're hit in the rear wheel by a Mazda and had our suspension taken out, retiring us from the race. Exhilarating weekend.
