I just bought a new tungstun this week. I am debating taking off the side stripe decal, is it possible to buy a new one if I ever want to sell it?

'Personally don't know. I would assume so because there will obviously be the need for them "down the road" when cars are damaged for instance.

'Sure way to find out is to call Saleen. Since they built the cars, they should be able to tell you if your Ford parts man can't. (Saleen, Troy: 949-597-4900)

Yes; in fact I purchased a spare set for my gal. There are 6 different part numbers required to create the entire set and as I recall the cost was modest.

Here's a link to recent thread that has some photos:

I followed your lead and purchased a set as well. I may remove the side stripes and replace them with a plain set (sans "Ford GT" lettering - otherwise identical), so I'll have a original set for possible future use.

Looks like from the avitar, yours is tungsten.

The "satin silver" (I think is the right color for your car)

5G7Z-6320001-BAC
5G7Z-6320000-CAC

Each segment on each side is a different part number. Not that expensive (don't remember actual, maybe $150.00 for a complete set)

OK. While I am at it, just FYI

Thanks for posting the part numbers, AZGT. As referenced above I removed my stripes a few weeks ago. At first I was not sure how I liked it, but I have no doubts now, and think it is much cleaner looking. No regrets, and one could always put them back on.

Thank you for the info, I think the car looks cleaner without the side stripe.

I'm planning on removing mine also.
Thanks for the parts numbers as I wanted to get a spare set before I removed them.
