Pretty cool!

Getting a little frisky at the end. Fun.

Not sure I would want to be doing that at night. Still traffic, so what's the advantage? Think the risk outweighs the reward, other than being able to say you ran 200 at night.

Does the infrastructure bill call for the creation of any autobahns?

Wow! I'll bet a few of the people getting passed at high speed had a "what the hell" moment! :)
While the driver seemed very capable, it's the unknown that can get you. Imagine the impact of a deer or large dog in the road at 200 mph!

Interesting that it starts and ends at a truck stop. Might it be a customer's car he's transporting that needed a quick road safety test before delivery?

Video reminds me of 2 things;

1) How much I love my car.
2) How horribly inadequate our headlights are.

This driver has no skill and is dangerous to other people. Gives the Ford GT a bad image.

I don't do much on social media or youtube - I would prefer not to encourage this kind of BS with a "like" or a "view"...

200 mph at night on a public road, legal or not... Guy is lucky to be alive...

And yes, I am an old fart...

Exactly why I don't do this. I have never hit a deer, but have come within inches many many times. Brakes have saved both the deer and me (I ?) . At this speed, the deer and I would become one together, blood brothers.

PS: My wife and her friend were coming home early evening, at dark, from one of the local casinos. On a 60 mph country two lane highway. She said a very large elk crossed in front of her and stopped. She hit the brakes and stopped just touching the elk. The elk just stood for a short time and then slowly walked away. She was not sure if she hit it. I checked the front of the car, it had smudged areas where the dust/dirt was wiped off, but no damage. However, there was piss all over the front of the car.

140 vs 200. Neither are necessary. 1000' at 140 in 5 sec, 3 sec at 200. Is 2 sec gonna save you? At night you'll have lights on as will others making you and them more visible than in daytime. He made several practice runs building up to that speed. Less cars on the road at night. Probably about as safe as you could be on a public road. Wife calls me combative. lol Personally, I'll wait for a closed course event to do it. Didn't a Bugatti do 300 on the Autobahn? And get in legal trouble?

Except for the horrendously inadequate headlights. They are bad even at legal U.S. speeds.

Not the wisest thing to drive like that at night in an area with the possibility of wild game lurking about.

I would never put myself in that position driving anything.

If something were to jump out in front of me and damage my car, I'm eating that sucker!

Roadkill Roast hahaha.

About 20 yrs ago travelling to Frankfurt airport early am. Travelling at 100mph. Came around bend headlights showed large metal object, too late to swerve, better to take in front grill than tires. Perforated radiator. Anything larger…..
Dangerous at night!
Follow up, frau pickup is up on flatbed. They identified the object, fell off a truck. Insurance comps got truck’s ins company to pay damages!
German efficiency !!!
