Was buying a few items at the local car store and ran across this item yesterday.

Looks like the Holman Moody 1966 Fairlane Antique Bronze colored GT40 that raced and took 3rd at Le Mans, just missing the hot pink front fenders.

That GT actually exists. Was for sale on eBay recently. One of it's selling points was that it's image was used for Mother's

It is the only one I know that has been painted the bronze Fairlane Colors. Any idea what it went for?

I believe it was a Red/White Stripe GT that was PhotoShopped to the gold color.

Atomic, my apologies. My mistake. It wasn't a full gold car. It was black/gold stripe (i.e. Hertz livery). Mother's has used its pictures on other products. Relisted here on eBay:

Tangentially related? There was a red/white stripe on this past Sunday's episode of the "Mentalist" on CBS. In the back round in the bad guy's garage, seen twice for a total of about two seconds.
