Ford GT Deliveries


Ramping up-13 retail deliveries in August. 42 ytd. Dave is production at 20 per month now?

If there were only two cars painted like this then this must be Mark Fields garage right?

September sales release shows 7 deliveries bringing year to date to 49. Would have expected more given production ramp that visitors to Multimatic have reported on.

Again, that info is wrong. No idea why, but it is. AJBs car was #50. Three others on that truck wer 51-52-53, another truck delivered three to east coast, 54-55-56, and there were several delivered in Canada. Those are just the ones I know about from literally seeing them, so there are likely more.
 
'Reported sales' are not the same as 'deliveries'.

It is a monthly sales report by Ford. Since the cars are shipped directly to the customer from Multimatic and not to the dealer I assumed retail sales equals retail deliveries. Let me know if that is not the case.
 
It's not the case, as previously stated.

Are the cars now being delivered in VIN order... I see the last batch that went out were 50-56. It is so cool seeing everyone getting these super cars in their hands and on the road! Congrats to all that have taken delivery to date.

No not even close. DBK's vin #40 was delivered months ago. #88 delivered way before my vin #34. Serial # has nothing to do with build order.

As many have stated (DBK, Rex, Chip) , cars are not Serial number and delivery sequenced. For varied reasons :

-parts repair.. cars are pulled off line for repair,
-paint correction in final inspection. Re-sequenced for paint repair.
-parts not available (ie Titanium exhaust put some cars on hold)

My VIN is 00098.... and it was exactly the 50th car delivered .
When I was at Multimatic , VIN 00014 was still on line waiting for a Titanium Exhaust and it will not be delivered until next week.

Proper Assembly Plant / Ford Service controls are in place... but it is still Fun to talk about this.!!

If Ford shows they have sold 64 GT's ytd-including 15 in October how does that correlate to production and actual customer deliveries.
