I purchased my first FGT from Shelby two years. I immediately signed up for this forum and have enjoyed both ever since. About a year ago, as we all know the value of these beloved cars began to trend up. I have read many threads debating what these new values mean, where they may be going and if indeed the dollar appreciation even matters if you truly love your FGT.
During this trend up in value, I have decided to ignore the dollar value and focus on free miles. Here it goes: Purchase Midnight Blue, Four Option, 3000 mi FGT twenty four months ago for $170,000.00. A 12,000 mi FGT apparently sold recently on this sight for $193,000.00. That tells me, I have just been rewarded with 9,000 free miles and an additional 23k to spend on upgrades and detailing.
Hence, I call owning a FGT the best Frequent Flyer Miles Program Ever!
