Ford GT at 2017 NAIAS

Tonight is the official kick-off of NAIAS with "The Gallery" an event at MGM Grand Casino showcasing all of the most expensive and exotic cars - most of which will make their way to the NAIAS show floor next week. I saw a local news report from the event tonight and they briefly showed the black one with orange stripes on display there, so I would guess that that's the car we'll get on the Ford booth at NAIAS this year. Not my favorite color combo, but I'll take it...

No, the show stand Ford GT is RED, and it appears to be the same car displayed in San Diego.

Looks like you guys are right. Here's a photo I just took of my 5:00 news with the news crew reporting from the Ford display. You can see the red one in the background.

Ranger is not at the show this year, nor a Bronco concept. The US version is excepted to look similar to the international version already in production with a rmild revision to the front end.

"The Gallery" takes place at MGM Grand Casino on the Saturday Night before preview week. It's a $500 ticket and a charity event and just for one night. It's not a separate area of the normal show.

Got it. At the Miami International Auto Show which is basically a boring dealer display they have a separate Hall called million dollar alley where the have all the Exotics.. I only went to the Detroit Auto Show at once when the new GT debuted and I don't think I left the Ford stand..:biggrin

Car looks unreal in that combo. Went down today. Gloss CF wheels looked even better than I anticipated. Stripes look white in some of the pics but they are definitely silver.

The last red car I owned was a 1992 Fox 5.0. Never cared for red cars since. Then this.....

I thought it could be nothing but blue.
Then I had to have the silver.
Now I'm not so sure.
