Many of you have been asking how to find the discontinued Ford Racing GT Aluminum Shift Knob / Sleeve Kit M-7213-GT.

There are very few of these that remain in the country - in fact some websites are charging $499 for the pair.

As you all know we have been making the fatter shifter sleeves for a few months now. ($48 Bucks)

We've finally got the re-design of a similar knob that will be available in a number of finishes!

- Fatter than stock/OEM GT shifter knob

Available in following finishes:

- High Polish Billet
- Brushed Aluminum/Silver Anodized (OEM Stock knob finish)
- Anodized in GT Colors (Red, Blue, Black, Silver, Yellow, Heritage Orange or Blue)
- Enamel filled details

We will be able to customize the shift knobs to personal preference.

I need to know how many people are interested.

We are 2 weeks away from having the finished product - we just have to finalize the group order.

Please PM me or post here if you are in for a knob, and if so what options

Pricing will be:
- $125 for Silver/or Brushed Finish
- $185 Anodized Colors/Enamel filled details
- $199 Carbon Fiber Banded Knob

We've got a Carbon Fiber Banded version coming as well - There will be a Carbon Fiber band insert in the middle of the knob all around outer edge.

We are ready to Spin the Knobs just need a showing of hands for quantities.

Pics of the model attached below ( a couple of mock ups to give you an idea of what can be done)

In for Carbon Fiber!

We've already received a few replies, please share your requests so we can figure out how to proceed.

Thank You!

Andrew -

Unfortunately I couldn't wait and so I asked your good friend Shadowman to customize one of your shifter sleeves and another shifter ball. Or else I'd be a repeat customer. Thanks again for the shifter sleeve you sent me and for all you do for the Ford GT community.

Kirk

I am in. White enamel with dark blue fill.

:wink
.

The complete knob finish can only be anodized colors, or polishes billet, the enamel fill is for the letters/numbers and stripes. We can't enamel coat the entire knob, just to clarify.

thx

can we get a pic of the carbon knob?

Can we get CF with enamel filled details?

What is the knob finish in the top 2 examples?

.

To answer the questions

- A real photo of Carbon Fiber insert won't be available until I punch the first batch.

- The Carbon Fiber Insert version will have the option to Enamel fill the GT logo and numbers up top

- The finish in the top graphics is Anodized Silver (Keep in mind the graphics are the computer drawings - not the actual finish)

- Production will begin next week and real examples to follow soon!

I'd like to see what the CF looks like. But if it's real CF and nice and dark, and if the GT Logo and numbers are enamel filled, I'm thinking "winner!!!".

These are going into production on Monday! So we will have them sooner than expected! Any other takers?

Thanks Chip for "STICKY"ing this thread - I want to try and see how many of you are interested and I should have real knob photos in the next week as production has started as mentioned.

CF sounds nice.

Hi Andrew. I would be in for one as mt OEM one is bit scratched up but cant decide which one I want yet. Ill wait for real pics and decide but I am in for one.

+1

I am in the exact same position.
I think I'd prefer a brushed alluminium one to the polished one, but want to see the CF one also.

Thank you!

ok! Real pics coming Friday when I pick up the batches..

Thanks!

Hey Andrew

any pics? have I missed a different thread?

I am in for a brushed aluminum shifter with a navy blue enamel in the numbers, letters, & banding.

Thanks, Mark
