3 door available in any market?

I'd be all over that like Paul on an ambulance.

Ha ha. Although I prefer a three door, I really like this car. I've waited so long for an RS, I'd take an RS Transit at this point.

Been waiting and wanting for years and have loved the three door. A picture from a couple of years back in the South of France...I guess with well over 300hp And AWD I could live with 5 doors😜

Didn't Jamal bring an earlier version to the Rally at VIR? I think I remember going for a ride in a lime green car.

I found a green 2010 in Mexico (http://auto.mercadolibre.com.mx/MLM-476142984-ford-focus-rs-2010-seminuevo-4-mil-km-_JM) for about $27,000. God knows what it takes to get it into the USA. My question is, what if one uses it off road only? Would Customs make it an EPA nightmare if I only track the car? Anyone with some insight on this?

I do know of a fellow who has a home in Mexico that brings his into the U.S. But he is restricted on the # of days it can be here (don't know who keeps track). When I looked into importing one it looked to be a nightmare. If I remember correctly it was due to crash safety standards. Presently my nephew has a focus RS in holland, my brother was going to look into him bringing it back When he returns, I'll ask if he's made any progress.

Importing is cost prohibitive unless a car is at least 25 years old.

If you want to know why the budget is F*%$ED, read the NHTSA link. Imagine the man hours putting all of that together.
