Good morning.

Will be adding a FGT to my collection and I've been lurking awhile on this forum.

So, to the business at hand:

1) Would like to arrange a pre-purchase inspection in the Sacramento, CA area in the next couple of weeks and I would like to be there for the inspection. My timeline is totally flexible and would only be delayed due to potential weather issues. Can you please suggest a GT expert for the inspection?

2) Is there an owners group in western Washington?

3) Source for shop art etc. for the "shrine" when the new car finally is delivered to my garage.
Have enjoyed the reading at this forum and look forward to changing my status from spectator to owner.

Thank you.

What color are you looking at down there?

Kendall, the owner at Cooltech is in California and is outstanding for these ppi inspections. I think he is almost always available.:thumbsup
WELCOME!

CONGRATS in advance AND WELCOME!

I echo 2112's question: In what part of Washington do you reside?

In answer to YOUR question: There is no formal "owners group" in Wash. St. - at least none I've heard about. Owners in this area usually just post or PM here on the 'Forum regarding this or that proposed "meet" somewhere.

Daniel,

Welcome to the fold. You are about to experience what will likely be one of the best purchases you'll ever make. I think most members here on the forum will tell you that your life will never be the same. (be prepared to spend countless hours driving and just spending "quality time" with your GT). Ownership has been known to stress family relationships from time to time, so when you get to the point where you spend more on trinkets for your GT than your wife, there are many "councilors" here on the forum to help.

I was on the GT program at Ford for about 4 years before retiring to NW Arizona. I have been doing PPI's, upgrades and repairs on GT's for some time now. Forum members here can verify my credentials. I could do a PPI in the time frame you need. You can pm me at [email protected]

The first place you need to look for GT items is at Camillo's web site. He was the designer at Ford for the GT, and is a fantastic artist. Many forum members have his work in their shops and homes. Someone here should have the exact web site info.

Again, welcome to the forum.
Rich

I'll certainly vouch for Rich (GT Tech). He's everything he says he is! :thumbsup

Here's Camilo's web site http://www.camilopardo.com/Artwork/Artwork.html

Gig Harbor/Fox Island Here. Sent you a P/M

Thanks guys. Appreciate the welcome/direction for the PPI's and looking forward to chatting more as well as ownership. Would like to get the chase part completed sooner than later......

Welcome to our GT world. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do mine. And drive it often.

I reside in Renton. Rough guess is 40+ GT's in Western Wa. A few GTX1's too.

Not sure what part of the penninsula your at. There is A GT owner (or 2) in Sequim.

There are a number of GT owners in the Sacramento area. They more than likely know the owner and the GT.

Closest GT expert to Sacramento would be Bill Knobloch at Discovery Automotive in Placerville, known as Shadowman to those of us on the forum.

Rich is a solid guy for a PPI inspection. Knows his stuff and basically loves to spend 3-4 hours inspecting a GT- possibly one that he put together during her birth back at the factory 5 years ago.
