Sorry ....

Winter here is boring so thank god for the internet :biggrin Couldn´t afford a real FGT so had to settle for this little Ford that I can use at the track to haul tires, fuel and spares :)

Looks like a fun Truck/Van. Is that considered to be a truck?

Anyway, congrats!

That is COOL!

289 power?

I do not think the 289 was available on these mdels, but not sure. This one has the biggest Inline 6. According to seller the details are: 78K miles, rustfree Arizona car, original 240 cui Inline 6 engine that has been modified to make 270 hp, automatic transmission

Too cool.

Way cool. One of those things beat my 700rwhp GT500 in the 1/8 mile and I ran a 6.9 at over a 100 mph. It wasn't a 6 cylinder though. :)

Anders, that is too you! Love it.

Here are 3 shots from a Trans Am race in 1967 at Green Valley Raceway outside of Dallas. Dan Gurney beat Parnelli Jones by less than a second, both driving team Cougars.

Ander's ,
You crack me up! LOL!!!
At least you have a transporter to pick it up if it breaks down!
Congrats my buddy!

Great find Anders! As you know I am a Ford truck nut.... I love it

:thumbsup :thumbsup

That is really sweet!! I've never seen one with a V8, only the sixes.

And I love the 'lead-in' on your post - Apparent that you have been reading too many resumes in a closed-in room.... :lol

:thumbsup :thumbsup

Hi my friend ... I knew you would find this funny :biggrin Now all I need is your jet boat :wink

Yes you´re probably right ..... I should get out more - get more fresh air :biggrin

I had a Econoline van years ago, mine had the smaller 6 cyl, but I replaced it with a Boss 302, then later to a 351 Cleveland, both with C4 transmissions. It sure was a lot of fun!! Yours with the 240 would be easy to add a V8 as the bellhousing has the same bolt patteren as the V8. I also used a Dodge van engine cover to cover it.
