Fabulous Fords Forever! - April 14, 2019


Great day at the show. Four new GTs were in attendance. All of them stunning, of course, but Vince Hott’s ECP car is too gorgeous for words (or cameras to properly capture).

Karl, great pics! Are you embedding image links in your post to have the photos directly show up?

I've reduced the file sizes to as low as 1.2MB, but I can't seem to get them to directly appear (without links to click).

As Karl mentioned, I also found harsh sunlight and lighting angle made it hard to capture Vince H.'s (and many) car colors.

The interface isn’t clear, especially on a phone (desktop is much easier). I got it to work mostly...but as you can see Vince’s car showed up full size and thumbnail... :confused:

I think just attaching the photos makes them full-size, while hitting the thumbnail button makes them thumbnails (I thought it defaulted the other way...I think it detaults to thumbnail on desktop...I think...).

Vince's car looks awesome! Anybody know what kind of wheels are on the silver car?

I think those are the standard GT wheels in silver with black lugs.
 
I like the look of that Silver car and the wheels.

Nope, zooming in (if you click on pic, good zoom capabilities), there are details that are different for sure at the wheel center. Also lettering ADV1? Must have come with CF wheels hence the monstrous lug nuts.

Side note, is the Matte a Galpin family car (or is it customer car)? Didnt the Galpin family get a "comp" car?

ADV.1 wheel design collaboration is a possibility. They apparently worked on this CF set with Dymag for a 2018 white Stormtrooper NFGT.

Yes, they are ADV1 one-offs he had custom made.
