DTC codes,..can I delete with tuner from different car?

Maybe a rookie question but can I take the SCT tuner from a different GT and use it to delete a code in my car?
Basically,..I get the "door ajar" light when none are open.
Would love to delete that for now.

No, and regardless, "door ajar" is not a code.

Slam (moderately) your trunk and clamshell. If the "door ajar" light is still on you need to have the switches adjusted.
 
That won't clear. Double check the front hatch make sure it's closed....and clamshell....

check to see if your wipers work on the slow setting, if not then most likely in the front hood. Sound strange but the 2 are connected, if your front hood is ajar or a problem with the electrics then the wipers only work on fast speed, wasted a few hours learning that one.

Yes you can read and erase DTC's on any OBD2 FLM vehicle with an SCT programmer.
