Its good to see young people that work to succeed!

Congrats, You should be proud. My oldest is finishing Jr. High as a Valedictorian and on his way to High School.

Congrats!!! I agree, nice to read about our youth doing something good for a change instead of all the crap in the paper.

HHGT, My Junior in High school just made National Honor Society (must have gotten that from his mother) and just took his first UNOFFICIAL visit to a NCAA Division 1 college that is recruiting him for a golf scholarship. (Got that from me)!:banana:banana

Congrats. I have two and must have done something right. No drugs, no alcohol, and well liked by all. 20 year old in college is an english major and a terrific writer. 17 year old in high school in the lead as a junior and also as a sophmore in all the non-muscial school plays. Proud to be a dad.

EP,

Double secret proabtion??

Thanks guys....

My take is kids pay very close attention to how you act and what you do....not necessarily what you "say".

They are keen observers and judges of success....and respond well to those who show them a path to it.

He's my Godson and I always made time to take him golfing, to car shows, shared hobbies, and fruits of hard work.

There were ups and downs.

When 18 came...I leveled with him about what the real world will require and provide in terms of work and rewards; no candy-coating.

He is well on his way...

EP,

Double secret proabtion??

better than having to post bail!

There is no better way than leading by example. Thanks for sharing.
