dealer DVD

Well, $78 is a lot of money for any DVD, but it is a good DVD and certainly a must-have for the GT owner. It is a shame that with the program over that copyright restrictions cannot be lifted.

BTW: Karl, did you buy a Blu Ray player as yet?

If it shows up as a link here I'm deleting it. Fair warning, but even friends of "the man" aren't immune to copyright infringment law. The man doesn't read PM's.

The DVD's on eBay are not reproduced... the ones I have seen are original's. They should be ok to buy and sell just like anything else - right? I would think the copy of an original is an issue. The one I purchased on eBay is an original not opened yet.

No Blu-Ray yet, but I did just pick up a 1080p, 61-incher by Samsung over Labor Day weekend. Picture is suu-weeet!!! But I'm waiting for technical glitches and prices to settle down on HD-DVD and Blu-Ray before buying.

BTW, the DVD I got off Ebay was an original in the unopened, shink-fit plastic. I also have a copy of the DVD that another GT owner gave (repeat GAVE) me a couple months ago. I use that as my "viewing" copy and even keep it in my GT, while the original sits safely in my "rare/cool GT shit" stash.

I have long had a copy of the dealer DVD but would like to find a pristine original version someday and set it aside.

We use a 110" DLP projector, would like a 61" LCD flat panel but wanted to buy a Blu Ray (the new Pioneer Elite is out soon) since it is truly no expensive than the first Sony DVD player that we bought at the inception of DVD (we were using Laserdisc at the time). Some things on Laser Disc (one particular Pink Floyd concert) never made it to DVD.

Perhaps, as mentioned above, as the cars are sold off, the DVDs will emerge.

I have listed a bunch of Ford GT collectible items (including one of the Titus DVDs) on ebay, the auctions start later today (2pm eastern time).

Details at this thread: http://www.fordgtforum.com/forums/showthread.php?t=3938
.

I bought my car at the end of October. The dealer did not have the DVD. They contacted rick Titus / Ford and got me one. I received it about two weeks ago. I would push the dealer you bought the car from to find you one.

Hey John,
I was thinking the same as you. Do you recall the thread about filing warranty claims after performing certain modifications. Morally and legally corupt.
I don't want to be the morality police...
I let folks draw their own conclusions. Meanwhile, I bought my DVD on ebay
at the market price.
Cheers Mate!
