Daytona 24 hr Race 2017

January is near. Anybody going to the Daytona 24 hour race this year? Last year was a blast. It appears all four cars will be racing there. one of the few opportunities to see them all together in the US.. it's in my backyard. I'm going for sure. Haven't heard anything about a Ford car corral or activities... :confused:confused

I will be there. Matt & Danielle also coming. Hopefully BAT. Daytona is a dumpster fire, but it should be good with all four cars racing!

I asked all the usual suspects if Ford would have anything for fans but never got an answer, so we bought our hospitality tix from Porsche. This year I will skip wearing my Ford gear into the Porsche suite though, so I don't get any more fun special extra surprises baked into my red velvet cake.

We will be there in Porsche gear as well. Flying into Orlando and driving from there on Thursday afternoon.

I guess I'll be hanging outside wearing my Ford GT gear with my faced pressed against the glass of the Porsche suite looking in.. I hope you guys wave to me..

Just go to the Rolex suite. Oh wait, they don't sell Rolex at Target'.
 
Working on logistics, hoping we'll make it, although I'm not sure Roz will be if there isn't a hospitality suite
 
Were going... Was looking into bmw corral , but only 2 tickets per household. I suppose we would look rather odd wearing Ford shirts in a BMW Tent.
So were with you Stormy. We will just have wave to the Great Bearded One from a far.

How about the spiffy seats upstairs? Pretty pricey, they're 650. Who was it that was "invited" up there last year? Maybe they can chime in to see if it was worth it?
 
I'd be happy in a Mustang corral. But, but not bringing the GT unless it's in some kind of corral.

BTW, hotels are largely full.
 
We VRBO'd a house at a reasonable price.

Nope. Just assuming nothing beyond the usual race display.

I looked at that too.. there's another package for $600.. I was going to call to get the scoop on both..
