I had a custom motorcycle built in 2003 and I just don't ride it anymore. It is the coolest bike to ride and stands out
from any other bike when you stop at a bar or go to a bike show. I took it to Bike Week in 2004 and even though there
were about 100,000 bikes on the road and radical bikes at the numerous shows, I was always asked to pull over so a
rider or driver could look at the bike. It was featured in Easy Rider magazine, and in the V-Twin Annual 25 Best Bikes
of the year magazine. I used a Walz frame from Germany and a 124" S&S motor. The front forks are one piece aluminum
and the seat is 16" from the road. The rear tire is a 180 and the pin up girl on the tank was custom air brushed. If you would like

Am I correct in thinking there is no front suspension? If there is, how does it work?

Is there rear suspension?

There is front suspension. The top part of the forks is one piece aluminum and the down tubes have springs and the lower part of the fork rides up into the one piece fork.
The rear has an air suspension. The front forks are from Goldammer in Canada. I then powder coated them black.

Thanks, that is interesting. I never did dyno the bike, but it pulls hard from a stop as the bike is light. I also have a bike that was a special build commemorating Harleys 100th anniversary and S&S 45th anniversary. The two companies contracted with 4 well known custom bike builders to design a bike around a 145" twin and each build 9 bikes. Then the idea was that 9 bike collectors could buy the set of 4 bikes for about $250,000. That idea fizzled as one of the builders could only build one bike because his show bike didn't quite work in real life and finding 9 guys to pony up $250,000 was highly optimistic. Bourget did build the 9 bikes and I bought #9 as it was still sitting at their factory several years later. I never dyno'd the bike but I can tell you it is a torque monster. We had to map the fuel injection because that seemed to be a problem with the builds that was never finished.
