My clutch engages at the top, would like it closer to the middle. Does anyone know if or how this can be done?

thanks

Consult the shop manual.

Ravage, Your FGT is still under warraty so a needed clutch adjustment should be covered. Just take it to any local Ford dealer that has a trained GT Tech rather than screw around with it yourself. Tell them you want to wait for the car (and watch if they'll allow it) as the adjustment should not take long. This way, your car does not sit around the dealership for a day being oogled, stroked and possibly damaged.

Good luck, usmcfred

The clutch system is hydraulic. I don't see how that could be accomplished unless a physical issue exists.

There is no adjustment

If the pedal travel has changed measurably then it is likely that surfaces are simply wearing. A very high pedal engagement typically indicates friction disk wear wear as a extremely low pedal release typically indicates a presure plate issue.

The key word used "typically"

Although I would not consider "consult the shop manual" very helpful, I think he is right, there is no adjustment for for the clutch.

Thank you all for the input.
