CHP 11-99 Foundation

I went on the CHP website, trying to see how to make a donation for the 11-99 Foundation, and receive a license plate bracket.
While I found how to make a donation, I could not find any mention of the bracket. Is it dis-continued or did I just miss it?

Do some more searching. You will find that some folks thought this was a license to speed. Someone raised a stink about it in the public eye. From what I found, anything that would go on the car or lead one to believe it may grant a special consideration. Is gone. Still a very worthy cause and serious business.
 
I don't know if the life member program is still intact. The last I heard was the program was getting bad press in the eyes of some, so the prices were raised from 1800 to 5000, 10000 and 25000, to make it un-attractive, from a monetary sense, to join thinking it was a free pass; which it is not. Surprisingly donations were up the 1st year of the price increase.

I joined a little more than a year ago. A worthy cause to help the families of the men and women that have a very dangerous and under appreciated job. Tax deductible too! If you think it is a worthy cause, give them a call and see if the life member program is still alive. It may be something that they don't advertise, but may still have.
