Ceramic Coating


I saw some more ceramics advertised: Sonax Profiline Ceramic Coating and Mothers CMX Ceramic Coating. Sure would be nice if there was a credible comparison with Pros and Cons or each. Anyone aware of a study on these various ceramics? Thanks for the info on F-11. We need something like the tire thread posts but for ceramic coatings.
 
The film coatings "heal" themselves of small scratches and abrasions when exposed to sunlight or heat (think propane torch). Presumably the ceramic coating would retard this process.

I recently acquired a 2005 and this is the first vehicle I have protected with both the clear "wrap" and with a ceramic coating (SB 3). Am very pleased with both the appearance and how easy it is to clean. I also had the wheels coated.
 
Opti -Coat is the pinochle of ceramic coatings
 
If it is the "pinochle" of coatings, you are gambling.
 
Did you hear about the Las Vegas card sharp who retired at the pinochle of his career?
