Hey E.P.,
Been mostly adults and young adults for me. I did drop off my little one at preschool - loves to take rides in the GT. It's awesome that it has LATCH and airbag deactivation. I haven't given any rides to pregnant mom's or young kids, other than my own.
You can really make a person's day, with gestures like that. That is cool that you are doing what you do.
I feel that I am fortunate enough to have this car, so I will try to share it, within time constraints, work, and safety considerations. 5-30 minutes out of my day to make someone else's day is not going to kill me, and is probably therapeutic for me anyway.
It is tougher with this car, since the inquiries are frequent and regular.
The more people we can convert to car guys, the better. Just one person at a time. :wink
I love the way Hammond, on Top Gear, put it: "When you drive into town, in a supercar, you should make everyones day." That's what the GT is, a supercar; and as such, gives people something to talk about because, after all, they just saw a GT!
Everytime (meaning the two times) I've seen a GT on the road I've talked about it with someone else. I talked about where it was, what it looked like, everything, and it makes my day! At autorama this Sunday my friends had to literally drag me away from a GT that was there.
I just hope for the day that I go into a parking lot somewhere and happen to see one, with the owner about to walk up to it. Yes, I would talk to him, and yes I would ask questions; I simply never see these, so the one chance I get to talk to an owner, I'm going to take it! I do see how this may become annoying to an owner but certainly you can all see why it happens. Now I am also completely infatuated with the GT, so my reaction to a GT and Ferrari F430 are going to be a bit different (granted both would envolve some sort of screaming and jumping up and down :lol ). Seeing the car in person, and talking to an owner in person, would make more than just my day.

I have given many rides to friends and young kids primarily because in my area there are very few GT's around. Most are very appreciative to have their picture taken with my GT. (probabily 200 Kids) Most friends know how expensive it is and that it took me 39 years to have one and are very understanding as to driving it. Most won't ask.The reason I show and display it often in this area is because not too many around here (south of Houston). Tomy Hamon PS. I love to make young people grin and dream. My wife can't drive the GT as she can't reach the clutch even with the seat pulled up and can't drive my AC Cobra for the same reason.
It does seem that GT's are quite rare here in Houston (at least on the north side). I've seen two 360's in the last week, which is very rare but still no GT.
If I had one, I would be the same way it; and this is how I am with my Lightning. Alot of people are curious about the truck and what it can do, so I give them a ride in it, and it blows them away! So in a GT I can see myself doing the same thing, however (because it's a GT) I would be a bit more cautious on who got to ride or sit in it.

it didn't cost me a dime. Who knows, mebbe it even created a little "motivation"?? :thumbsup
E.P.
Haha, before I got into cars I wanted to succeed and make money but once into cars and seeing how costly the hobby is, I now want to succeed even more so I can support my hobby even more. Then seeing the GT, well that just put "motivation" in my heart like you wouldn't believe, and I haven't even had the chance to sit in one yet!
