Can anyone recommend a good Corvette forum?

Do any exist that remotely resemble this place?

I've had enough of the "convince me to order the chrome door handle option" and "what are you going to name your car" threads.

Who here is a Corvette nut who can start a forum like this for C7 Corvette owners? You can call it the Atypical C7 Corvette Owners Forum, an open forum for atypical C7 owners and enthusiasts.

First don't forget to get yourself some thick gold chains, and unbutton your shirt to your navel, Oh wait you already do that. Then you can get in to the spirit of the discussions : )

Your just jealous 'cause my 'Vette is gonna be faster than your Aston. By the way, you need a set of these if you're going all Limey on us:

I'd say the only decent one out there.

But a FAR FAR cry from this place.

Sinovac is right, would be nice to have something better.

Corvette forum was good before Troy sold it to IB. Just about every other thread is bumped vendor pitches now. Unreadable IMO.

I have been a Corvette nut since childhood. There is no Corvette forum like this one, the Corvette forum is the best one and as Dave has said its not the same since it was sold. I am into the midyears and L88s anyway so the C2 section is not too bad. The NCRS board is a great resource for the purist restoring a classic Corvette.

Hey Paul, my friend is up here from FL and he is a bit of a Corvette expert. He writes articles for a couple vette mags, and he concurred the best one he knows of is corvetteforum.com. He is mostly on the C3 part of the forum, but said it is pretty decent with a lot of knowledgeable people on it. He was excited to hear your getting one so he can see it, so hurry up. When are they available?

I want the Z06. I have no idea when it will be available. The rumor is that the Z06 will debut at the NAIAS in January. I have never been interested in Corvettes, but I have to say I really like this new car, awkward rear end and all. The reviews of the Z51 Stingray have been great so far. The interior looks extremely nice from the photos I've seen. If the materials are anywhere near as nice as those in the new Viper I saw, I'll be extremely happy. If I am any indication of the level of interest from Non-Believers, Chevy has a real winner on its hands. I really like the fact they are sticking with a manual.

I do hope Chevy stopped using that toxic adhesive that attempts to poison it's occupants. Every new Corvette in recent memory smells like Love Canal.

I agree, but the Corvetteforum.com is the only one that has anything of value. As was posted above, way too many vendor ads, too much testosterone, too many "convince me to buy this..." posts, but a lot of great info on the car. I have an '08 Z06 heavily modded running close to 900 RWHP, and I spent months researching my build there before I started it.

As hard as anyone looks, there's no other car forum like this one, period. But then, we're talking about a 200K+ car, compared to Corvettes that can be had for 10K, so we're also talking about a different market segment too.
