Calendars!

Got mine yesterday. Awesome.

Only note...the package was completely opened at one end. The calendar was in there and it had not been damaged. Nor had it been folded like a prior post.

Thanks DBK and Camillo.

I got mine today, AWESOME!!! THANKS DBK and CAMILO!!

But pretty funny, all these packages arriving opened. I couldn't figure out why, but mine was too!! UPS had marked the package as open as well. They're perfect, completely undamaged, but it's just weird that they've opened EVERY package!!! If anyone finds out WHY they're being opened, or just has a good theory, I'd like to know.

In any event, once again, THANKS DAVE and THANK YOU CAMILO. Wonderful way to start the new decade!!!

Got mine yesterday too !! Awsome job guys

Steve

I really, really can't believe you guys haven't figured this out yet. It's Camillo's job to sign, stuff them in the envelope, and seal them closed. DBK must then slit them back open, put the calendar in for real, and then re-seal them.

Haha :lol And whilst that's likely true, I took a better look at my envelope and deduce that because the cardboard envelope is perforated, the burst strenght was exceeded during handling of the calendars (which are printed on some HEAVY stock!!!)

Anyway, since I"m posting, I'll comment again that these are beautiful!!! :thumbsup

Opened my today. Actually rec'd here in Canada on Jan 7 but was in sunny and hot Aruba until yesterday. Anyways they are great. I didn't think they were going to be so big. Thought it was just the standard size calendar. Fantastic! :thumbsup
Excellent pictures. Glad to see white with blue to start off the year. :banana
My package was completely closed. Had to tear it open along the perforation.

Thanks to Camillo and DBK!!!!
:cheers

All remaining orders will ship tomorrow. Ordered a batch of carboard box mailers to send them out. Not the most efficient way to send documents, but hopefully it will cut down on the reships.

Dave .......... does that include those of us who did not receive our entire order or had UPS contact you ?

Thanks

Yup. Yours will be in a box.

What took you so long to repond ............. :biggrin

WOW !!!!!!!!!

For the record, I got your original envelope back. They definitely ran over it with the truck. At least a couple times.

Mine arrived today with a couple of creases and dents. The box fits rather tightly "width-wise" so any deformation of the box (mine was slightly crushed) is transferred directly into the spine of the calendar. In my opinion the packaging needs to be better.

You got one of the thick, rigid, constructed, cardboard boxes and it still got damaged?

This is my 43 lb Mac Pro Tower on the scale.

Just for kicks I threw a calendar in one of the boxes and I physically SAT ON IT along the tightest edge. I weigh 165 lbs. Pulled it out, no creases, no problem. It takes some serious neglect to screw one of those boxes up. Sigh.

How much do you weigh again?

This is the box (don't know the version), sorry to bear the bad news. Rarely have a problem with UPS, although they did break a LCD TV (and then "lost" the replacement).

Thank you Dave, I received the new shipment of calendars, in the sturdiiest box I've ever seen. Until I realized it was a calendars and opened it, I was expecting the finest imported Italian china. I appreciate all the effort you went to to get me the calendars, and in such good shape they were perfect.

By the way is that the famous sonic blue pictured in March or is that midnight blue? It's a beautiful picture.
Thanks again :thumbsup
