Buying new tires

I was just looking at the Tire Rack web site and saw that the Goodyear F1 Supercars are more than double in price form when I bought a set in 08'. Before I pull the trigger, I was hoping to get some opinions on the best looking and performing tires available now. Thank you.

There is a sticky here about tires.Unless you change wheel sizes, you don't have much choice. The stock GY, track Hoosiers, or the Bridgestones.
