Do you suppose the stem seal will last in salt water long enough to make that even a slim possibility (assuming said fisherman doesn't "bounce" it anywhere other than into his watchmaker son's shop :lol)?

I don't know if it would survive, say, ten years under water. The watch is solid gold, so the case would be undamaged.

Ultimately I have its replacement on my wrist, but it would be interesting if this watch ever makes it back to me.....
 
They just came out with a couple of USA styled V14. If you goto the "configure" section of their website you can make your own.
