Blower motor control knob spinning like a top

So I take my first ride of the year..reach over to turn up the blower on the control knob and it just spins around and around. Blower will not turn on and as I spin the knob left or right it appears very smooth (it does pull up now a bit), not even a bumpy spot.
The good news is she ran like a bat out of hell.

One of the only things that has ever broken on my GT. Mine did the same thing early on, ended up replacing the entire small board for all the knobs.

^^^ Thanks bonehead. I updated that thread. The same issue on my car was just a loose setscrew.

Thanks! I have the console just about out. Do I have to remove the subwoofer from the back wall cause thats what it looks like I need to do?

Yes, the wart needs to come out to remove the console.
