Bang for the Buck Daily driver

My dd is a CL65...obviously not best" bang for your buck"... but let me say that car is sillly fast....I have about a 30 mile commute each way,and i enjoy every second of it!! I also have 996TT(FVD-540hp/570ft-lb) . Just being able to drive each of these cars allows one to appreciate the others that much more.... obviously each has its own merits.. the CL is sooo smooth ,but can smoke almost anything of the freeway... gobs of torque!!...I had a Renntech 04 E55 and i like the "drivability" of the CL much better...no intial "surges"... and its faster
 
My favorite DD is my Lightning. It does low 13's in the 1/4 and I can pick up my mulch or whatever I am doing with it. Its only downfall is the gas mileage which is approx 12mpg. I also have a loaded MB C 320 which gets a little better gas mileage. It also has one of the best Bose stereo's I have ever heard in a car.
 
Would it be really sad if I asked if you could post a pic of the engine of your Lighting? I've never seen one and am curious.
