Are Stock OEM Oil filters still being manufactured?

Just wondering if I should stock up on these....I notice that Wix has a crossed referenced filter but is considerly less priced so i wonder about quality...if any knows please chime in.....

They are a common Mann filter for a BMW 3 series, no problem getting them. You pay about $25 more for the Ford Motorcraft box!

In 07 some of the oil filters I purchased from the Ford dealer had a MANN branded filter in the Motorcraft box.
The number is not coming to mind right now, I am thinkiing it was the same filter as a 330
