Well, the eagle has landed! Its actually a Thunderbird Formula 311 (but can't say that in the home of the Blue Angels)! Additionally, although the Osprey really own the skies around here...the local Heron (affectionately known as Wally) is king of the dock.

These are some of my wooden runabout collection. “If God had wanted fiberglass boats he would have made fiberglass trees”3434ACDE-788F-4C27-B43D-45FDE3BC2E28.jpeg

How 'bout some info on the tiny runabout hanging from the ceiling above the Jeep? R/C maybe ('can't see an antenna, but...)? 'Nautical version of a pedal car? 'Scale model? 'Can't see a steering wheel. Does it have one at all (functioning or otherwise)?

I've never seen anything quite like it before!

The wood ones are gorgeous but not for me. Resin bucket all the way. I'd like a trawler someday and if the interior is wood it's getting replaced with another material.

All my runabouts were made in my hometown by a company called Speedliner. The quarter scale boat was built for Goetz brewery as a summer in store display piece also based in Saint Joseph Missouri. It is complete except for steering wheel and steering cables. Speedliner’s were used in the Cypress Gardens water ski shows and featured in a number of films. Mel Blanc also had a big collection he kept at Lake Tahoe.

Hopefully you guys can access this FB video...
Ps-I had to plug in my earbuds and turn my volume up to 11 to really hear the engines.
