Any scale models of the Matech GT1?

I just don't feel right looking at the corvette gt model on my desk, it needs to be pushed aside for the real GT! Any tips on where to find one?

I believe those of us who attended this years 24 Hours of Le Mans were presented with the ultimate Matech GT1 desk model. They are not for sale however. Every day the Matech Team had a new surprise for us. I believe on day 2 they gave each of us a heavy crystal block that has an amazingly detailed 3-D see through copy of the Matech GT1 Ford GT laser engraved into it. It's hard to photograph but the detail is unreal. In different light you can see the engine, seats, suspension, frame, roll bars, etc. A really cool and rare piece of memorabilia commissioned by Martin Bartek to celebrate the Ford GTs "Return to Le Mans".

Is begging out of order to try to get Matech to sell those.:willy

Maybe they would consider selling them to those of us who sponsored them at LeMans???? Maybe???

Looks awesome. I wish they sold them to us. What about dicast models of the MATECH car? Are there any made?
 
We can make them for sale. We are looking at putting them on the e-shop. The price will be €125.00 plus post and packing costs. We will give a full factual description of the item to accompany the photos...as for Chip's passionate description...well we can't match that :-)

Already ordered a bunch of goodies from Shop as the cart is now working and the next day I saw the dufflebag wa on there and had to order. Keep the items coming its Christmas soon :)

Yes, I ordered 3 items from Matech last week. The site worked fine for me using Paypal. They have already been shipped. Would definitely like to have a model.

Worked fine for me using Paypal. I just received my Polo shirt. coffee mug and cap.:thumbsup:cheers
 
Another option is (although not Mateck, and not great quality) is Hotwheels. I have a 1:64 Ford GT Lemans car and it looks great. UNFORTUNATLY, it does not say "FORD GT FORUM" on the side, just ford gt. Someone has to talk to hotwheels about that!
 
just received one from matech. they sell for $125.00 each plus shipping. they also have other matech gt items for sale.
