Anybody know anything about this car? What happened to it and what was done?

Don't know any of its history, but it seems like a much better deal than this one (which I think has been posted on here before):

Absolutely correct...It was hit the the front and no frame damage but was totalled by the insurance company and it received a salvage title.....something sounds very, very strange.

And now it was inspected by the police, I didn't know that Sting inspected cars, and has a re-built tile.

Oh please "You are looking at a salvage title car, depending on your state laws car may be transfered in your state and come back with a clear title."

"Clear title" ........how wonderful !
"you can use the extra 30k to buy your new girlfriends a car 2 share because you will be the most talked about guy around town in this car" ......how wonderful !
THE CAR HAS HAD NO PAINTWORK ........this is wonderful !
"this car is looking for an owner " .......... pick me ...pick me:banana

Always love the stories that accompany the sale.

Clearly the car is being listed honestly, if someone washed the tittle they would be committing fraud. No doubt the car showes up on Carfax as a salvage. The issue is it worth it or not?

Exactly, the seller has stated it has a salvage title, what is the big deal? Let someone bid on it with that knowledge. Lets see what a GT with salvage title is worth.

Oh man if I had the balls I would buy one of these and ship it to Greenbay for a GTX-1 conversion.

Interesting; I notice that the rear crossmember on the right side has a spacer in the top bolt hole and has been rewelded, there must be more damage to the chassis if the crossmember broke away from the rear suspension casting.
Just my thoughts

And . . .

What's with the big bow; curve, smile; in the front splitter? No way it came from the factory like that.:frown

I did send ebay a question asking what their rules were about title washing or condoning it. Everyone should look at carfax first but you never know if this ends up over in Europe or somewhere other than the US for sale as a new car. That would suck for the new owner.

Looking at this shot, I think I'd be happier if the panel gap was the same across the back. Still bent it seems....
