Anybody here with a 4C in his garage ?
I'm very interested to know about it.
It's a 2,465 lbs, all Carbon Fiber, 237HP 4 cyl Turbo, 6sp Double Clutch, rear engine/rwd.

Curb weight is about 2,450lbs.

Had one go through our store. If you like a lotus Elise, then you will like this car. I'm a fan of neither....

You'll know your mechanic on a first name basis :lol :lol :lol

I like it, a car tight like an Italian slipper. Till now I have successfully resisted the temptation. Hope nobody offers me a ride though ..

I bought the car.
Extremely nice.
This guy sums it up really good:

And here's a video he just made on the 2006 Ford GT

I guess speed limits are advisory where he was driving.

Ah, California, land of the double yellow line? Good luck with legal passing there.

If you didn't own one and saw the video, you'd say "Wow, that looks like a great car".

Owning one, it's " That's what I'm talking about!"

Pretty good video showing some of the things we have all gotten to love about the car and its capabilities, and what a blast we can have every time we drive.

Seeing that drive, I'm really sad that the car is up for the winter. First snow today.

Yellow lines are bad, but year-round driving does have its virtues.

That thing is cool looking but we all need to make choices.
Mine is to drive my GT.
Can't imagine wanting to drive a Lotus or Alfa or anything else instead of my GT.
And if it's time for driving a classic,..or antique,..then I'll drive something vintage.
Choices.....

Granted I could leave the Alfa out on the rain...,....

Bigfoot, I felt the same way, but that was before the dealer talked me into driving one around town for 15 minutes.
I simply loved it !!
I have watched almost 20 reviews on You Tube. The pros are what I like in a car and the cons are not important to me.
With this car you have fun around the block, driving it for 10-15 minutes, going to the Supermarket, etc., don't need to plan ahead as with our GTs.
Alfa Romeo will stop making the 4C before the year's end.

Speaking as an ex-GTV driver, Everyone should own one Alfa at some point in their life, it gives you a real appreciation for how reliable every other vehicle is!

I have 3 older alfas, 59 spider veloce, 72 Giulia super, and 79 GTV (latter my first car). Allot of fun to drive, cheap to maintain, do not need to drive ridiculous speeds to have fun on a mountain road! Light years ahead in technology in anything comparable in price range at their time ! I looked at 4C, beautiful and drives and sounds great! But tight in side. Bought a focus RS instead which I can use year round!
Did not hear the 4C will not be produced next year!

I hope they don't kill the program, Gene, I was expecting to see a manual transmission and more power on it in a couple of years.
It looks that they build the 4C where they build the Maserati GranTurismo which is getting replaced by another model so the factury will probably be shot down.

I bought a red coupe last spring. It's fun to drive, and a good vale.

disappointing to discontinue the 4C, may have to purchase one if updated version as discussed comes out before the end of the run!! I guess alfa like other manufactures (Porsche, Maserati , Jaguar etc),need to produce SUVs to stay afloat!!
