I can't seem to find my installation directions for my xpipe and was hoping to get started. Anyone have a set to fax me?

Thanks in advance!

LOL. I still have that "new, expensive car syndrome" whereby I don't want to learn the hard way that you have to pull this to get to that, etc. and you scratch/break (god forbid) this if you don't do this - you've been there :)

After the first coat of dirt, rubber, and a few dings, it'll be much easier to just take the impact wrench to it and let pcs fall to the floor.

Ouch. It's online even! Thank you and sorry for my online laziness!

snaproll...do a search here for the shadowman method of leaving the clamshell intact. I did it, it works...I suggest backing the ass end up on a low profile ramp arrangement so you have plenty of room down under :thumbsup

If you have any issues feel comfortable in letting me know and I will gladly walk you through the process.

Enjoy your gal.

Takes care

I'll do some more reasearch and check back with you guys. I was doing the oil cooler install -cooltech last night. I don't know how it works, but so far it is a thing of beauty. So far, this is a nice car to work on though I'd hate to have to work on the front of the motor.

To this one I say NOPE!:cheers All I did was respond to Bruce's question Bony.

The true facts from when I installed the Heffner is that I did it the old fashion way - with two Saphire and Tonic's under my belt:lol and performed surgery from memory based on previous postings where Shadowman and others jacked the car up, dropped the diffuser, left the Bonnet on, dropped the back grill, exhaust surround, move the linkage etc. My only problem was that I had to drop the center bolt and drop the trans the 2" to get the POS stock box out.

After that - another G&T and bolt the Heffner in! Also added the Accufab TB and bellow stiffner which did not come with instructions! What really helped was that my son and his friend, a licensed mechanic, were there to do the heavy lifting allowing me to focus on the issue of Gin and Tonics!

Instructions? who needs stinking instructions!:banana

They are only useful after you can't figure out what when wrong!:rofl

Mike, your way is way to messy and hard on the manicure. I made up a tall pitcher of MAKERS MARK MANHATTANS, sent an email to THE GT GUYS, regarding an appointment to do my install. Finished that pitcher and a couple of more, no sweat, enjoyed a couple of fine torpedo's and fell into the hot tub. A damn productive evening if you ask me:banana :rofl :banana

the manhattans are sounding like a better idea. I decided to do the oil cooler install first. But why is it that with 5 tool boxes I still don't have a thin 27mm wrench and or something that will allow me to tighten the oil cooler an adapters into the oil cooler? So I hit sears, harbor freight and do a drive by of the local speed shop (the only one's who might have them are closed) and still come up empty. this is why you hire professionals - it's much cheaper, faster, and less disruptive to my drinking!!
