80 lb. McIntosh?

In an Edmonds article, it is stated that the McIntosh option adds 80 lbs. Is this really so?

I find that hard to believe. Some post list the weight for the subwoofer and associated amp, but both of those is not 80 lbs. Maybe the article means 80 lbs for the whole system with all of the speakers, wires, head unit and amp. That said I plan to take mine out and already bought the stock replacement part. I can see much use for the upgraded stereo unless one is not moving. The car does have quite a bit of tire and wind noise at freeway speeds.
